Setting up Map Drives with SharePoint sites Office 365

Problem: With Office 365 we had configured the team site but then we wanted that people should not have to login to the portal to access the data under it. Rather the shared document folder should appear as a Map drive on the PC Researched further on the topic and found that its possible to do that but the process is cumbersome and error prone Setup a team site on office 365 for Contoso.com Provided required users with needed permission on the team site accessed the document link and copied it https://Contoso.sharepoint.com/Shared Documents Tried creating a map drive with the link but it failed with error    “The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another” Researched further on issue and found that we have to follow the exact following steps 1) Sign in to the SharePoint Online site by using your Office 365 credentials. Make sure that you click to select the Keep me signed in check box. 2) Open a document library in Explorer View. For example, follow these steps: 3) From your Team Site, select Shared Documents. 4)Under the Library Tools section in the Ribbon, click the Library tab. 5) In the Actions group, click Open with Explorer.  ( Do this step, its very important) 6) Sign in to the SharePoint Online site by using your Office 365 credentials.
