Unable to Print to Brother Printer with Mac, Error “unable to connect to printer”

Problem Since my latest Free 🙂 OS X upgrade on my Mac Book Pro (Late 2011) , My Brother wireless Laser printer list fine as printer but when I actually try to print it fails with error “unable to connect to printer” Brother Printer Model MFC-7860DW Solution After seeing multiple forums and solutions. I finally readded the printer 1) Click on Apple Icon on left top corner of your MAC, go to System Preferences 2) Go to Printers and Scanners 3)  I am assuming the Printer has a static IP, if not please assign it a static IP before proceeding ahead, You can check the current printer network configurations by following Link from Brother website http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC/public/us/us/en/faq/faq/000000/000000/000027/faq000027_011.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=mfc885cw_all 4) Click on the + sign on the bottom to add new printer, Click IP on menu selection of ADD dialog box, fill in the rest of the details, if your printer was working on this Mac before then it should Pick the driver automatically 5) Try printing from the newly added printer, if that works fine then you can delete the earlier printer from the list by clicking the – sign besides the + 😉 Follow following troubleshooter from Brother site if problem still persist http://www.brother-usa.com/FAQs/Solution.aspx?FAQID=200000028989&Model=1753&ProductID=HL2270DW&Keyword=#.Uu9dyXddXF8      ...
