A client has a Bizhub 350 which is relaying via one of our Exchange servers for Scan to Email. This has been working for long.  Suddenly one day it starts to fail with error EA 3226

Troubleshooting

Validated we are able to telnet on exchange server on Port 25

Rebooted konica Bizhub 350 multiple times no success

Finally occurred that recently we have secured our server with AntiSpam settings, Disabled all of them and it started to work

Then wanted to see specifically which setting is causing the issue , Under recipient filtering found that there is a check box “block messages sent to recipients not in the global address list”

Unchecked this setting and restarted Exchange Transport service from Services.msc

Its working fine now

Disable Exchange Antispam settings
